New Rule for 2026!
Please be aware that due to space restrictions, we do have a more strict size limit on the base this year. The rules state it must be on a base no larger than 32 studs by 32 studs. According to Lego.com, that is 9.8 inches (25 cm). We hope everyone understands the need for this rule change. I can’t wait to see all of the creative takes on this year’s theme!
We are so excited about the turnout for our first ever Lego Contest! The number of entries was beyond our expectations. Each entry brought creativity in not only how they incorporated the fair theme but how in how they used pieces in innovative ways.
A huge thank you to Christopher Till of Bricks and Minifigs, Fort Wayne. He was so generous in his sponsorship of prizes and kind to offer to judge. His enthusiasm for legos, creativity, and learning added joy to the whole event.
We look forward to growing this event next year. We’ve already learned so much from this year and have started planning enhancements for the booth and other areas of the contest. Be on the lookout for a new flyer next winter.
