LED Track Lighting
COMPLETE!
With funds from a hard-earned grant, the track lighting has been upgraded to energy-efficient LED fixtures, bringing brighter, cleaner visibility to the entire area. This improvement not only enhances safety and viewing quality for spectators and participants but also significantly reduces long-term energy and maintenance costs. By switching to LED lighting, we’re creating a better experience while making a smart, cost-effective investment in the future of our fairgrounds.
Additional Restroom Project
In Progress!
A new restroom facility is coming to the east end of the fairgrounds, mirroring the design and convenience of the west end restrooms and showers. This addition will bring much-needed permanent facilities to serve the grandstand and the expanded camping areas, greatly improving comfort and accessibility for visitors. With this upgrade in place, the current temporary restrooms can be relocated to the speed office area, providing even more coverage and ensuring our fairgrounds continue to grow with the needs of our expanding fair family.
Grange Building Makeover
Starting Soon!
The Grange Building is getting a much-needed makeover, transforming its interior into a charming town-square setting that bridges the gap between then and now. This fresh design will honor the building’s history while adding inviting, modern touches that make the space feel alive again. With its new town-center vibe, the Grange will become a place where memories are shared, community gathers, and the spirit of yesterday meets the energy of today.
Backstop for Shooting is a Sport
Comming in 2026!
Waste not, want not – our fairgrounds are putting that motto into action. Former lighting poles, once serving our track, will be thoughtfully repurposed as a sturdy backstop for the 4-H Shooting is a Sport Club. This practical reuse not only saves resources but also supports a safe, well-equipped space for youth to learn responsibility, precision, and sportsmanship. It’s a simple reminder that creative recycling can strengthen our programs and community.
